I think after dealing with a crappy evening, I think it’s safe to say that I can still put a smile on. “If you smile through your pain and sorrow; smile and maybe tomorrow; you’ll see the sun come shining through for you” -Nat King Cole

Farewell to College and hello to grad school

I’m going to miss college but more importantly, I’m going to miss my friends and sorority. Without my friends and sisters, I don’t think I would have stayed as long as I did. My sorority was the main reason that my focus in school was so strong. I so dearly wanted to stay in chapter, so I worked my butt off to make grades every quarter. But in doing that I made myself a stranger to some of my sisters whom I had gotten close to, you know who you are, this made me sad but I has to do what I had to do.Β

Returning to chapter for the last initiation made me realized that I wasn’t ready to leave. I joined Kappa Delta for a reason and It wasn’t to do well in school but it was to make friends, bond with my sisters, help out the community and more importantly, sisterhood. My first years in KD was the best. I loved it so much.Β

But now that I’m leaving, I’ll never forget all the memories I’ve had and the friends that I’ve made. I’m going to miss going to school and seeing sisters at random times. I love my sisters and I can proudly say that I am a Kappa Delta and I will forever have loyalty to the green and white. I will always bleed green and I will always hold to the motto, Ta Kala Diokomen.Β

Love and AOTΒ
